Best live events March 2026

· David · 2 min read

Spring is here and the live events calendar is packed. Whether you’re into arena tours, intimate comedy nights, or big theatre productions, March 2026 has something for everyone. Here are some of the standout events happening across the UK this month.

Music

March is always a strong month for touring, with artists kicking off UK and European legs before the summer festival season takes over.

Keep an eye on the major venues this month. The O2 in London, Co-op Live in Manchester, and the OVO Hydro in Glasgow are all hosting big shows throughout the month. If you’re after something more intimate, venues like O2 Academy Brixton and Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow regularly have brilliant lineups with a very different atmosphere to the arenas.

If any of these events are sold out on primary ticket sites, check our music events page for fan-to-fan listings at face value.

Comedy

The spring comedy circuit is in full swing. Touring comedians tend to hit multiple UK cities between February and April, so there’s a good chance your city has a show worth catching.

Smaller comedy club shows are often the best value, but the bigger arena tours are where you might struggle to get tickets. If you’ve missed out, browse our comedy listings for spare tickets from fans who can no longer attend.

Theatre and musicals

The West End never really has an off-season, but March is a great time to catch a show before the tourist rush of summer pushes prices up on the secondary market. If a specific performance date has sold out through the box office, it’s worth checking Tickets9 for resale tickets at face value.

Outside London, regional theatres across cities like Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, and Bristol are staging touring productions and original shows that often fly under the radar.

Have a look at our theatre and musicals pages to see what’s available.

Sport

March means the business end of the football season, the Six Nations rugby climax, and the start of the flat racing season. Tickets for big sporting events are notoriously hard to come by, but fans with spare tickets regularly list them on Tickets9.

Check our sport listings for availability. Remember, every ticket on Tickets9 is capped at face value, so you won’t be paying inflated prices even for high-demand fixtures.

Set an alert if it’s sold out

If the event you want isn’t showing available tickets right now, don’t give up. Use the alert feature on any event page and we’ll email you the moment someone lists spare tickets. It’s the best way to grab sold-out tickets without constantly refreshing the page.
